A pot without drainage is a cover, not a planter
Calaro Editions is a small online planter counter in Jaipur selling terracotta, ceramic and plastic pots. Every listing gives the internal diameter, the number of drainage holes and the weight, because those three decide whether a plant lives and whether a pot stays upright.
Calaro Editions is a sole proprietorship based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, operating online as Calaro Editions at calaroeditions.shop. We are online-only — there is no showroom and no walk-in counter; the address on our invoices is the registered office and packing room.
Two dead plants and a beautiful pot
The shop started after two plants died in the same handsome glazed pot. Nothing was wrong with the pot; it simply had no drainage hole, and the listing had never said so. Water went in, sat at the bottom, and the roots did what roots do in standing water.
So drainage moved to the top of every page, next to internal diameter and weight. Where a pot genuinely has no holes we call it a cachepot and say what it is for. It is a duller sentence than the styled photograph above it, and it is the one that decides the outcome.

Measured across the top inside the rim — the figure that decides which plant fits and when to pot on.
Weight on the page
Terracotta is heavy and plastic is not. On a windy balcony that difference decides whether your plant is still upright in the morning.
What we will not claim
We will not photograph a cachepot full of soil, we will not call a plastic pot stoneware, and we will not promise that a plant will thrive because it is in one of ours. Pots are bought for living things, and a listing that misleads costs the customer the plant as well as the pot.
